Constituted under the Punjab Bar Council, the Human Rights Committee brings together advocates committed to defending civil liberties. We receive and investigate complaints, coordinate pro-bono representation, conduct legal-awareness programmes, and engage public institutions to ensure rights are upheld in practice — not only on paper.
The protection of human dignity is the first duty of every legal institution. On behalf of the Committee, I welcome you to our work — a sustained effort to make justice reachable for those who need it most, and to hold power accountable to the Constitution.
Whether you seek redress, wish to volunteer your skills, or simply want to understand your rights, you will find a committed community of advocates ready to stand with you.
To protect and advance fundamental human rights across Punjab through accessible legal aid, principled advocacy, and rigorous oversight of public institutions.
A Punjab where every citizen — regardless of background — can access justice, exercise their rights with dignity, and rely on the rule of law.
